This bus is still in revenue service but there are two changes.Its electronic destination signage(EDS)has been removed and its livery has changed.It used to have 2 red arrows on the old livery and it beared the title'Superbus'.The EDS was removed in 2005.(On 7 March 2010,this bus was destroyed in a fire at Ang Mo Kio Depot.Status is unknown.)
Singapore turns 44 today!Singapore gained independence on 9 August 1965.There were performances like singing,dancing and a bit of history about the founding of Singapore,which is a new segment added to this year's NDP.There is no celebration without fireworks which lasted for minutes.And this year's NDP theme song is What Do You See by Electrico.
The Singapore Flyer is the largest ferris wheel in the world.It stands at 165M(541ft)and 42 stories high.You can have a bird's eye- view of Singapore with this observation wheel.Its diameter is 150M(492ft).The Flyer has 28 air conditioned capsules and each of them can hold 28 passengers or 5 wheelchairs with 15 other passengers.The Singapore Flyer opened on 1 March 2008.One complete rotation of the wheel takes about 30 minutes.
